How do I know if my business is secure enough?
The quick test: do you know the digital entrances and exits of your business, and what's protecting them? If you don't have Multi-Factor Authentication, managed and updated devices, and a trusted platform for your data — you likely need help. If that doesn't interest you, that's exactly why you need someone it does interest.
How can I manage overseas or remote workers' IT security?
The gold standard is virtual machines — an online 'laptop' your remote staff log into through their browser. All work, passwords and data stay locked to that environment. No chance of data loss if done correctly, and easy to reassign when staff change.
How can I save money on IT costs?
Three main drivers: doubled-up licences (most Microsoft 365 subscribers don't need Dropbox — OneDrive already does the same job), lack of training (regular IT training pays for itself in time saved), and not involving IT at the planning stage of a purchase. Your IT support knows your environment — a product sales rep doesn't.
Our systems don't talk to each other — can that be fixed?
Yes, and it's one of our specialties. Tools like Microsoft Power Automate allow data saved in one place to flow automatically to others — eliminating the manual re-entry that eats your team's time. It requires the right connections (APIs) and expert setup.
Once it's done, your team wonders how they ever managed without it.
How do I choose the right CRM?
It comes down to what you need it to do — but there are two things every CRM should handle well regardless. First, email integration: when it sends emails on your behalf they should come from your domain, not the CRM's servers. With spam filters as aggressive as they are now, emails sent from a third-party domain often won't reach your clients at all. Second, check how email and file storage actually works. Some CRMs are just an index service — they don't save copies of your emails or files, they just reference them. That's not always a problem, but if you don't know that's how it works you can end up thinking your data is safe when it isn't. If you're not sure whether your current CRM is set up correctly, that's a good conversation to have with us.
